Annual General Meeting
Members of TLSC Board of Directors are members in good standing of the Lithuanian Community and are members of the Toronto Lithuanian Senior Citizens Inc. They have been elected to serve on the Board by the TLSC at an Annual General Meeting (AGM)
As of the end of the Annual General membership Meeting (AGM), May 30, 2023, the terms for two (2) members of the Board are ending. One individual will be running once more, while the other has declined.
As per the by-laws, the Board comprises 7 to 9 members, therefore the Meeting is to elect up to three (3) members to the Board.
Full Members of TLSC are entitled to nominate and vote. Full Members and Support Members of TLSC are entitled to be nominated and serve on the Board.
Since its inception, TLSC has evolved from simply a social organization to a business managing a multi-million-dollar apartment building. The duties of a Director require financial and organizational acumen, and a dedication to the business that cannot be taken lightly. TLSC should elect Directors with that in mind.
According to TLSC by-laws:
Candidates seeking election to the Board of Directors shall have to submit to the administration their nomination request in writing, at least 2 days prior to the Annual Meeting.
Please include a brief resume with the completed Nomination form, indicating skills, qualifications and experience, qualifying you to act as Board Member.

In the event that no nomination requests are received, as per the by-law, the single aforementioned Board member will be acclaimed.

Toronto Lietuvių Pensininkų Klubas
Kandidatų siūlymas
Toronto lietuvių pensininkų klubo (TLPK) valdyboje gali dalyvauti lietuvių bendruomenės ir Toronto lietuvių pensininkų klubo nariai, išrinkti į valdybą TLPK visuotiniame metiniame susirinkime.
Uždarant 2023 metų gegužės 30-ąją vyksiantį visuotinį metinį susirinkimą, baigiasi dviejų (2) valdybos narių kadencijos. Vienas asmuo kandidatuos į valdybą, kitas atsisakė.
Pagal organizacijos statutą, valdybos sudėtis yra nuo 7 iki 9 narių, todėl metiniame susirinkime galima išrinkti iš viso tris (3) narius.
Visi pilnateisiai TLPK nariai gali siūlyti kandidatus ir balsuoti. Pilnateisiai nariai ir rėmėjai gali tapti kandidatais ir būti renkami valdybon.
TLPK, prasidėjęs kaip socialinis klubas, dabar užsiima komercine veikla valdant kelių milijonų dolerių vertės daugiabutį pastatą. Valdybos direktoriai turi turėti finansinės ir organizacinės patirties bei rimtą įsipareigojimą šiam darbui. Renkant valdybos narius TLPK nariai turėtų į tai atsižvelgti.
Pagal TLPK statutą:
Kandidatuojantys į valdybą privalo administracijai pristatyti savo kandidatūrą raštu bent dvi dienas prieš metinį visuotinį narių susirinkimą.
Prašome pristatyti trumpą curriculum vitae kartu su nominacijos anketa, nurodant savo įgūdžius ir patirtį, kurie padėtų vykdyti valdybos nario/ės pareigas.

Negavus kitų kandidatų siūlymų, viršminėtas valdybos narys bus perrinktas aklamacijos būdu.
